Its almost Thanksgiving..

Wow what a year. Thank God its almost over!

With that being said, I started it with a pretty dismal outlook on things. Honestly now though.. after it taking MOST of the year to get this far.. I am tenuously hopeful. Emphasis on tenuous.

Today, I am planning out a menu for our turkey day grub. I'm cooking tomorrow because there is a good chance the boys will be at their Dad's on the holiday itself. Theyre supposed to be here but he might get to be home for the holiday before actually going to Afghanistan. I just cant honestly see depriving them of their time with their father when it could, potentially at least, be their last. I would feel so bad about that.. not that I give a flying flip about what their dad wants.. Its really what they would want.

I would give.. lose.. sacrifice anything and everything for them and their happiness. Its really that simple.
